Mubasher: Kuwait and Middle East Financial Investment (KMEFIC) achieved an increase of 54.3% in profits during the first quarter of 2019 compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings rose to nearly KWD 322,380 ($1.06 million) in Q1-19 from around KWD 208,960 ($687,810) in Q1-18, according to a bourse disclosure on Monday.
The increase in Q1 profits is attributed to higher revenue and investments at fair value.
